Battle Royale 2007

We had an awesome fight for Mirounga Beach between a couple of evenly-matched bulls. Sean Bogle, our cinematic intern made a terrific video of the conflict.
Here are also some great still photos of the same battle by Sarah Chinn.

Here is a link to the raw footage of the video, for those who don't want to miss a single shove or bite.

What a great idea making a music video out of the fight. That was quite a bloody fight. Wish i had been there. Greetings from Germany, Danny!

As usual from you folks, wonderful video, but hey, lose the sound track!

Very unprofessional, exploitative, and unnecessary, and only covers over the real sounds of the bulls, the ocean and the rest of life going on around them. For reference look at last year's video of Don Francisco and BobBond.

Sorry you didn't like the soundtrack Richard. We posted the raw footage for you, but you'll probably want to mute it to eliminate the annoying noise from the wind. The Bob Bond video has such clear audio because it was an unusually calm day.

Thanks for the raw footage Derek. I find it much better, including the wind, background people and comments, and camera shaking. All part of being there and witnessing such a marvelous spectacle. These little imperfections help me feel more a part of it all.
